The Faux Hawk hair style is inspired by the more extreme mohawk, but has a funky new look that is great for both men and women.  It is a style that is best worn by someone with thick hair that is straight or slightly wavy.  The Faux Hawk is done by trimming the sides relatively short, leaving more length in the center to create a peak.

How to style a Faux Hawk
  • Dry your hair really good.  This helps the gel hair product to hold a little better.
  • Apply a generous amount of strong hold hair gel forming the hair as the product dries.
  • Use your hands to mold the hair on top of your head to a peak.
  • Spray the finished style with hair spray to keep it from falling flat.
